Ready for Growth participant, Mount Langi Ghiran is home to one of Australia’s most iconic cool climate wines, Langi Shiraz. It is set amongst the dramatic backdrop of the Great Dividing Range in the Grampians region of Victoria, producing iconic cool climate wines.

Brad Rathbone, Director of Exports, started the Ready for Growth program in May 2022.

Australia is their biggest market and they have been exporting their products to USA, the UK, Europe and many countries in Asia. COVID-19 did play a part in shifting their performance in various markets.

Their overarching growth goal was to rebuild after COVID-19, to grow the business by finding the right streams to grown overall revenue. In addition, start selling to a wider target audience and further exporting.

“It was good to have the Growth Facilitator to bounce ideas off. He was able to give me an overview of all the grants available which I was not aware of. Their next step is to retain staff and reach more market domestically and globally. “My next six months focus will develop a strategy on growth in South Asia, USA and European markets, particularly the UK.”
