The Learning Professionals, based in Geelong, Victoria, is a provider of compliance-driven Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs. With over 20 years of industry experience, they offer practical and outcome-focused training to a diverse range of participants.

Participating in the Ready for Growth program, The Learning Professionals achieved significant outcomes aligned with their growth goals. They successfully hired additional trainers to support their contract initiatives, focusing on both full-time and part-time roles. This strategic move enabled them to enhance their training capacity and better meet the needs of their expanding client base.

In addition, The Learning Professionals, led by Joanne and their finance team, thoroughly reviewed government support opportunities for expanding into international clients and markets. As a result, they made progress in securing export grants to support their growth plans, particularly in the Asia-Pacific, subcontinent, and Brazilian markets. The program also empowered LP Communications to strategically restructure their business. This restructuring allowed them to expand their international client offerings, both onshore and offshore, while accessing multiple new funding opportunities.

Reflecting on her time, working her Growth Facilitator, Joanne realised that doing everything herself was limiting the business. Overcoming this meant gaining a more comprehensive view of the business and delegating time and resources more effectively. This enabled Joanne and her team to implement the company’s updated financial strategy and strengthened executive leadership skills across the team. .
